thanks for the links, looks really interesting, i can see this genre really booming here soon with the popularity that Dayz is causing. There is another game like this that is starting up soon that I have been following call "The Dead Linger"

check it out sometime its really interesting as well. if WarZ comes out well and has offical servers and is more stable then dayz I may be moving there. I love dayz to death and love rocket's personality and all. But lets face it it's just a mod for arma 2 at this point and because of that it has a lot of set backs. for example today all of us was in vent and trying to have a good time but we spend most of the day trying to find a server to play on instead of actually playing the game. I want official company ran servers for a game like this not player ran.

oh btw www.thedeadlinger.com/ I've always wanted games of this type and now I'm gonna be having more then i can chew here soon it seems. lol

i don't kno whether you read the "the war z" description carefully but i think its gonna be a different game then dayZ, I mean there will be some similarities but if I see stuff like character development and classes and stuff it won't be the same.

don't get me wrong i'll definitely give it a try and who knows some day DayZ might get character development or talent points too, but right know i just hope that a publisher takes over DayZ and puts in rocket as the lead developer

It will be different than DayZ but some features that it offers are DayZ-like.

yeah i noticed that also it seems to be a little more MMORPGish then dayz, I think the dead linger is closer to Dayz then WarZ is
